Sarah Ann Rhew 
Sarah Ann was born on October 15th, 1837 in Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1880.1 Sarah Ann's father was John Ruffin Rhew and her mother was Susan Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Jesse Roberts and Nancy Wilson. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William N. 'Billy', Isaac N., Jessie Thomas, James Simpson, John Ruffin, Elizabeth J. 'Betty', Nancy C., Susan Frances 'Fannie' and Mary Selena. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 54 on December 11th, 1891 in Roxboro, Person Co, NC. She was buried on December 11th, 1891 in Brown - Hicks Cemetery, Roxboro, Person Co, NC.1 General Notes
