James Williams Simmons 
James Williams was born on February 3rd, 1892 in Bone Cave, Van Buren Co, TN and his baptism took place in Draft Info. James Williams' father was Abijah P. 'Bige' Simmons and his mother was Lodema Jane Grissom. His paternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. He had four sisters named Effie May, Ethel Amanda, Ova Elizabeth and Mary Ann. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 81 in October 1973 in Bloomington Springs, Putnam Co, TN. He was buried in Laurel Creek Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
