Effie May Simmons 
Effie May was born on July 13th, 1887 in Van Buren Co, TN. Effie May's father was Abijah P. 'Bige' Simmons and her mother was Lodema Jane Grissom. Her paternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. She had a brother and three sisters, named James Williams, Ethel Amanda, Ova Elizabeth and Mary Ann. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at just 11 days old on July 24th, 1887 in Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
