Jessie Edith was born on July 3rd, 1879 in Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas, USA.1 Jessie Edith's father was Reuben Richard Shipley and her mother was Mary Ellen Clapp. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Shipley and Julinda Windom. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward Lester, John Richard, George Vernon, Earle V., Minnie May, Effie Belle, Laura Alice and Pearle V.. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 on August 29th, 1964 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA.1 -
