Edward Lester was born on March 10th, 1876 in , , Iowa, USA.1 Edward Lester's father was Reuben Richard Shipley and his mother was Mary Ellen Clapp. His paternal grandparents were Richard Shipley and Julinda Windom. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Richard, George Vernon, Earle V., Minnie May, Effie Belle, Jessie Edith, Laura Alice and Pearle V.. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on February 9th, 1952 in Shamrock, , Texas, USA.2 -
