Richard Polk Roberts 
Richard Polk was born on April 12th, 1846 in Price Twp, Rockingham Co, NC.1 Richard Polk's father was Thomas Jefferson Roberts and his mother was Arrena Wortha Hopper. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William Allen, Thomas Jefferson, Martha Jane, Sarah Ann, Nancy Susan, Matilda Frances, Eliza Virginia, Lucy Jane and Mariah Elizabeth. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 79 on April 1st, 1926 in GA. He was buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Villa Rica, Carroll Co, GA.1 General Notes
