Matilda Frances Roberts 
Matilda Frances was born on January 23rd, 1842 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Matilda Frances' father was Thomas Jefferson Roberts and her mother was Arrena Wortha Hopper. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Richard Polk, William Allen, Thomas Jefferson, Martha Jane, Sarah Ann, Nancy Susan, Eliza Virginia, Lucy Jane and Mariah Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 70 on August 30th, 1912. She was buried in Trent Cemetery, River Road, Rockingham Co, NC.2 General Notes
