Martin Pinckey Roberts 
Martin Pinckey was born on June 25th, 1825 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Martin Pinckey's father was Martin Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Gilliland. His paternal grandparents were Naman Roberts and Mary A. G. Unknown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John G., Samuel, James Ellis, William, Robert J., Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 38 on December 27th, 1863 in Gordonsville, Orange Co, VA.1 General Notes
