Gillie Virginia Roberts 
Gillie Virginia was born on April 25th, 1860 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Gillie Virginia's father was James Ellis Roberts and her mother was Jane Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Roberts and Elizabeth Gilliland. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Richard M., James Henry, Samuel Ayers, William Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Margaret Malinda, Sarah M. and Susan Frances. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Walter, Ann Elizabeth and Mary Jane. She died at the age of 88 on December 4th, 1948 in Oak Ridge, Guilford Co, NC. She was buried on December 6th, 1948 in Goshen Methodist Church Cemetery, Stokesdale, Guilford Co, NC.1 General Notes
