Arsenic Roberts 
Arsenic was born in 1835 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Arsenic's father was John R. Roberts and his mother was Jane Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Roberts and Mary Angelia Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William D., James M., Martin M., Samuel, John R., Mary E., Lucetta J. and Harriett. He was the third oldest of the nine children.1 General Notes
