Martin Roberts Knight 
Martin Roberts was born in 1845 in Rockingham Co, NC. Martin Roberts' father was John C. Knight and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Martin Roberts and Elizabeth Gilliland. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Benton, Emory Calvin, Samuel Garrett, Elizabeth Janet, Mary Demaris Matilda, Dora and Susanna.
