John Kerr 
John was born in 1765 in Augusta County, Virginia.1 John's father was James Kerr and his mother was Jane Robertson. His paternal grandparents were James Kerr and Martha Ball; his maternal grandparents were James Robertson and Rebecca Royston. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Alexander, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, Betsy, Peggy and Jane. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 in July 1830 in Kerr Homestead, Augusta County, Virginia.2 -
