Jane Kerr 
Jane was born about 1779 in Augusta County, Virginia.1 Jane's father was James Kerr and her mother was Jane Robertson. Her paternal grandparents were James Kerr and Martha Ball; her maternal grandparents were James Robertson and Rebecca Royston. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Alexander, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, Betsy and Peggy. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died about 1825 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She was buried in Old Cemetery, Augusta Stone Church, Fort Defiance, Virginia.2 2 -
