Edward Goodnight 
Edward was born in 1834 in Monroe Co. MO.1 Edward's father was John D. Goodnight and his mother was Frances Pond Childress. His paternal grandparents were Edward Goodnight and Sarah "Sally" Dye. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joshua C., Presley Harrison, James Thomas, William Henry, Ruth J., Dulcena Pendleton, Sarah Ann, Lucinda and Mary Margaret.
