Susan E. was born about 1840 in Barren Co Kentucky.1 Susan E.'s father was Joseph H Foster and her mother was Celine Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Susanna Higdon. She had three brothers named Joseph B., James Andrew and William Thomas. She was the oldest of the four children. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Johnathan John V. B., Elzie V., Elvin P. or B., Dr Robert Allen "R A", Cyrus Mosely, Nancy Alphratta and Mary A. She died in 1921 in Kentucky.-
