Bartlett was born in 1791 in Albermarle, Virginia, USA.1 Bartlett's father was James Parish Foster and his mother was Martha (Patsy) HUMPHREY. His paternal grandparents were James Foster and Elizabeth Parish. He had a brother and two sisters, named Male, Elizabeth and Susan J. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 86 in 1877 in Barren, Kentucky, United States.2 -
