Nancy Alphratta was born in 1861 in Barren, Kentucky, United States. Nancy Alphratta's father was Joseph H Foster and her mother was China Margaret Ritter. Her paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Susanna Higdon. She had five brothers and a sister, named Johnathan John V. B., Elzie V., Elvin P. or B., Dr Robert Allen "R A", Cyrus Mosely and Mary A. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Joseph B., James Andrew, William Thomas and Susan E.. She died at the age of 33 in 1894 in Kentucy, USA. She was buried in Odd Fellow Cemetery, Barren Co Ky.-
