His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Foster and Susanna Higdon. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Johnathan John V. B., Elvin P. or B., Dr Robert Allen "R A", Cyrus Mosely, Nancy Alphratta and Mary A. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Joseph B., James Andrew, William Thomas and Susan E.. He died at the age of 84 on June 21st, 1940 in Barren, Kentucky, USA. He was buried in 1940 in Foster Cemetery ,Glasgow,Barren Co Kentucky.1 -
