James Ward Foster 
James Ward was born in 1818 in Barren, Kentucky, USA.1 James Ward's father was Bartlett Foster and his mother was Susanna Higdon. His paternal grandparents were James Parish Foster and Martha (Patsy) HUMPHREY. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph H, Holeman Rice, A R, Elmore P, Elizabeth Ann, Mary Jane and Susan P. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 40 on April 29th, 1858 in Barren, Kentucky, United States.-
