Sir Giles Overby 
Giles was born in April 1590 in Quinton, England.1 Giles' father was Sir Nicholas Overby and his mother was Mary Palmer. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Overbury Jr and Isabel Elizabeth Rutter; his maternal grandfather was Lord Giles Palmer. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Frances, Thomas, Meriall, Nicholas, Walter, John, William, Margaret and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 62 on February 6th, 1653 in Bourton-on-the-Hill, Gloucestershire, England.1 General Notes
