Hubert Mathias 
Hubert was born in 1911 in Montgomery Co., Georgia.1 Hubert's father was Homer Eugene Mathias and his mother was Margaret Catherine Jefferson. His paternal grandparents were William Eugene Mathias and Mary S. Carlile; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Saul Jefferson and Frances Bailey. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Jefferson, Robert (nmi), Ouida Mae, L.E., Lois B. and Margaret Helen. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died in Montgomery Co., Georgia.1 General Notes
