William Eugene Mathias

William Eugene was born on February 22nd, 1844 in Stewart Co., Georgia.¹   William Eugene's father was Richard (nmi) Mathias and his mother was Susan Cooper.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Mathias and Catherine Fuller. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jackson, Joseph G., Augustus L., Lanslow, Scott Plesant, Alabama and Texas Luciretta. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard, Jr. and Eliza.  He died at the age of 88 on January 2nd, 1933 in Montgomery Co., Georgia.¹
