Jackson Mathias

Jackson was born in 1836 in Stewart Co., Georgia.¹   Jackson's father was Richard (nmi) Mathias and his mother was Susan Cooper.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Mathias and Catherine Fuller. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph G., Augustus L., William Eugene, Lanslow, Scott Plesant, Alabama and Texas Luciretta. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard, Jr. and Eliza.
