Dirkje Van Alstyne

Dirkje was born about 1695 and her baptism took place on May 26th, 1695 in Albany, Rensselaer, NY.¹   Dirkje's father was Abraham Jans Van Alstyne and her mother was Maritje Tewisse Van Deusen.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Martense Van Alstyne and Dirckje Harmense. She had a brother and two sisters, named Peter, Antje and Annatje.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, Johannes, Catherine and Maritie.¹
