Annatje Van Alstyne

Annatje was born about 1700 and her baptism took place on July 28th, 1700 in Albany, Rensselaer, NY.¹   Annatje's father was Abraham Jans Van Alstyne and her mother was Maritje Tewisse Van Deusen.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Martense Van Alstyne and Dirckje Harmense. She had a brother and two sisters, named Peter, Dirkje and Antje.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, Johannes, Catherine and Maritie.¹
