William Spencer Townsend

William Spencer was born in June 1826 in Jefferson Co., FL.¹   William Spencer's father was Thomas Roderick Townsend and his mother was Nancy Permelia Dean.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas Townsend; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Morris, Thomas Gideon, Light Stapleton, Elizabeth B., Clementine and Carpalona Fairy.  He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Allen Dean, Ann Pamelia, Sophronia and Florida.  He died after 1892 in TX.  He was buried after 1892 in TX.^1 1
