Thomas Gideon Townsend

Thomas Gideon was born about 1828 in Jefferson Co., FL.¹   Thomas Gideon's father was Thomas Roderick Townsend and his mother was Nancy Permelia Dean.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas Townsend; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Morris, William Spencer, Light Stapleton, Elizabeth B., Clementine and Carpalona Fairy.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Allen Dean, Ann Pamelia, Sophronia and Florida.  He died after 1892 in TX.  He was buried after 1892 in TX.^1 1
