Carpalona Fairy Townsend

Carpalona Fairy was born on May 23rd, 1837 in Crockett, Houston Co., TX.¹ Carpalona Fairy's father was Thomas Roderick Townsend and her mother was Nancy Permelia Dean. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Townsend; her maternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Morris, William Spencer, Thomas Gideon, Light Stapleton, Elizabeth B. and Clementine. She was the youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Allen Dean, Ann Pamelia, Sophronia and Florida. She died at the age of 64 on February 10th, 1902 in Houston Co., TX. She was buried in February 1902 in Houston Co., TX.¹¹
