Martha Peay Starke

Martha Peay was born on May 4th, 1814.¹   Martha Peay's father was Thomas Starke and her mother was Margaret Evans Larkin Rochelle.  Her maternal grandparents were James Rochelle and Margaret Evans. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas James, James, James Douglas, John Williams, Douglas, William, Reuben H., Sarah, Margaret L. E., Sarah E., Charlotte Jane and Arabelle Cynthia.  She was the second oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 71 in April 1886.¹
