James Starke

James was born on March 2nd, 1816 in SC.¹   James' father was Thomas Starke and his mother was Margaret Evans Larkin Rochelle.  His maternal grandparents were James Rochelle and Margaret Evans. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas James, James Douglas, John Williams, Douglas, William, Reuben H., Martha Peay, Sarah, Margaret L. E., Sarah E., Charlotte Jane and Arabelle Cynthia.  He was the third oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at 5 months old on August 29th, 1816.¹
