Charlotte Jane Starke

Charlotte Jane was born on August 30th, 1834 in Longtown, Fairfield Co., SC.¹   Charlotte Jane's father was Thomas Starke and her mother was Margaret Evans Larkin Rochelle.  Her maternal grandparents were James Rochelle and Margaret Evans. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas James, James, James Douglas, John Williams, Douglas, William, Reuben H., Martha Peay, Sarah, Margaret L. E., Sarah E. and Arabelle Cynthia.  She was the third youngest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 70 in January 1905.¹
