Phineas Sheldon 
Phineas was born on June 27th, 1717 in Northampton, Hampshire, MA.1 Phineas' father was Jonathan Sheldon and his mother was Mary Southwell. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Sheldon and Mehitabel Gunn; his maternal grandparents were William Southwell and Sarah Stebbins. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Jonathan, (Infant), Daniel, Elijah, Asa, Gershom, Mehetable, Rebecca, Silence and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 90 on September 18th, 1807 in West Suffield, Hartford, CT.1 General Notes
