Robert was born in 1603 in WARWICK, ENGLAND and his baptism took place on May 27th, 1603 in Puddletown, Dorset, England.1 2 Robert's father was Robert Bartlett and his mother was Ann Lavington. His paternal grandparents were John Bartlett and Agnes Benger. He was an only child. He died in Northampton, Hampshire, MA.2 General Notes

Robert Bartlett (1603-1676) came from Warwick, England in the 'Lion' in 1632, then settled in Cambridge Mass in 1632, and was an original proprietor at Hartford, Conn in 1636, a freeman in 1645, a chimney viewer in 1650, and removed to Northampton, Mass in 1655 (where he was killed by Indians).
Robert was a constable in 1655, a townsman from 1657 to 1664, a selectman from 1658 to 1663, and a juryman in 1659.
