Clara Rickert 
Clara was born on December 18th, 1875 in Bissell community, Colfax County.1 Clara's father was John Ludvig (Rickers) Rickert and her mother was Catherine Elizabeth Heibel. Her paternal grandparents were John Johann Rickers and Anna Katherine Borchers; her maternal grandparents were Valentine (Heupbel) Heibel and Angelika "Anna" "Gela" Reitz. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Carl Oscar, John Ludvig Valentine, Bertha, Martha Catherine, Anna Louise, Maria "Mary" Catherine and Kate. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 93 on October 30th, 1969 in Columbus, Nebraska.1 -
