Louisa E. was born on July 4th, 1848.1 Louisa E.'s father was Joseph Poley and her mother was Frances Gates. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Pouley Poley and Elizabeth Rowland. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin F., Peter F., Isaac F., Joseph, Charles M., Alonzo G., Mary C., Caroline and Matilda Francis. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Elisha, Willie, Nancy C. and Lizzie.1 -
