Medora Addi was born on September 29th, 1869 in Jackson Co., NC.1 Medora Addi's father was Hugh Addison Parker and her mother was Mary Hawkins. Her paternal grandfather was John H. Parker; her maternal grandparents were Abner H. Hawkins and Leutina Lurina Brown. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Jullius J., William Britton, David M., Elihu P., Mary Jane, Laura Elizabeth, Derotha Emmaline and Mary Lenrene. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 18 on August 16th, 1888 in Rabun Co., GA. She was buried in Persimmon Bapt., Rabun Co., GA.1 1 -
