Hugh Addison was born on August 19th, 1829 in Haywood Co., NC.1 Hugh Addison's father was John H. Parker. His paternal grandparents were William V. Parker and Elizabeth. He had ten brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, Thomas, James, L.D., William J., Pleasant Madison, John H., Robert H., Albert, Willis, Mary, Elizabeth and Tabitha.
