George Paine 
George was born about 1532 in Newton, Suffolk, , England.1 George's father was William Paine and his mother was Margery Ash. His paternal grandparents were Edmund Paine and Elizabeth Walton. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Nicholas, Edward, Anthony, Thomas, Henry, John, Agatha, Elizabeth, Agnes, Anna and Frances. He was the oldest of the twelve children.1 -
