Anna Paine

Anna was born about 1548 in Newton, Suffolk, , England.¹ Anna's father was William Paine and her mother was Margery Ash. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Paine and Elizabeth Walton. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named George, Nicholas, Edward, Anthony, Thomas, Henry, John, Agatha, Elizabeth, Agnes and Frances. She was the second youngest of the twelve children.¹
