Margaret Newport

Margaret was born in 1839 in Rhea, Scott, Tennessee.¹   Margaret's father was Asa Newport and her mother was Elizabeth Rodgers. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Ezekiel [Red Zeke], Asa, James F, Richard G, Polly Anne, Elizabeth, July H and Sabry.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.¹
