Elizabeth Newport

Elizabeth was born in 1832 in Rhea, Scott, Tennessee.¹   Elizabeth's father was Asa Newport and her mother was Elizabeth Rodgers. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Ezekiel [Red Zeke], Asa, James F, Richard G, Polly Anne, Margaret, July H and Sabry.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.¹
