Marion Napier

Marion was born about 1487 in Of, Merchiston, Mid Lothian, Scotland.¹ Marion's father was Archibald Napier and her mother was Catherine Douglas. Her paternal grandparents were John Napier and Elizabeth Menteith; her maternal grandfather was William Douglas. She had a brother and five sisters, named Alexander, Catherine, Isabella, Margaret, Janet and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the seven children.¹
