Elizabeth Napier

Elizabeth was born about 1491 in Of, Merchiston, Mid Lothian, Scotland.¹ Elizabeth's father was Archibald Napier and her mother was Catherine Douglas. Her paternal grandparents were John Napier and Elizabeth Menteith; her maternal grandfather was William Douglas. She had a brother and five sisters, named Alexander, Catherine, Isabella, Margaret, Marion and Janet. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died in Nun, Sciennes.¹
