Alfred Gideon Mulligan 
Alfred Gideon was born on April 2nd, 1844 in Beaufort Co., SC.1 Alfred Gideon's father was Francis Mulligan and his mother was Eliza Lavonia Dean. His maternal grandparents were Allen Jones Dean and Sarah Thial. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William H., Bernard Allen, George H., Francis A., Sarah Jane, Katherine Eliza, Isabella Annie and Parmicia. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 on December 27th, 1911 in SC.1 General Notes
