Rebecca Morton 
Rebecca was born on August 28th, 1793 in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia.1 Rebecca's father was Lemuel Morton and her mother was Martha Newcomb. Her paternal grandparents were Elkanah Morton and Rebecca Tupper; her maternal grandparents were John Newcomb and Mercy Barnaby. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John, William, James, George E., Holmes, Charles, Guy and Mary Alice. She was the second youngest of the nine children.1 -
