Charles Morton 
Charles was born on December 3rd, 1789 in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia.1 Charles' father was Lemuel Morton and his mother was Martha Newcomb. His paternal grandparents were Elkanah Morton and Rebecca Tupper; his maternal grandparents were John Newcomb and Mercy Barnaby. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, William, James, George E., Holmes, Guy, Rebecca and Mary Alice. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 68 in February 1858.1 -
