George E. Morton 
George E. was born on August 27th, 1786 in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia.1 George E.'s father was Lemuel Morton and his mother was Martha Newcomb. His paternal grandparents were Elkanah Morton and Rebecca Tupper; his maternal grandparents were John Newcomb and Mercy Barnaby. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, William, James, Holmes, Charles, Guy, Rebecca and Mary Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 22 on July 27th, 1809 in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia.1 -
