William Washington Mincey 
William Washington was born on February 1st, 1842.1 William Washington's father was Abraham Mincey and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Moore. His paternal grandparents were John Mincey and Celia Hendricks; his maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Augustus Marion, John Jackson, Thomas Mickel, James Marion, Jordan P., Henry, David, Abraham Marion, Lucinda, Celia Anne and Clarkey Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 78 on November 19th, 1920.1 General Notes
