Augustus Marion Mincey 
Augustus Marion was born on July 12th, 1836 in Bulloch Co., GA.1 Augustus Marion's father was Abraham Mincey and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Moore. His paternal grandparents were John Mincey and Celia Hendricks; his maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named John Jackson, Thomas Mickel, William Washington, James Marion, Jordan P., Henry, David, Abraham Marion, Lucinda, Celia Anne and Clarkey Ann. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 32 on February 6th, 1869.1 General Notes
