James Marion Mincey 
James Marion was born on January 9th, 1845.1 James Marion's father was Abraham Mincey and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Moore. His paternal grandparents were John Mincey and Celia Hendricks; his maternal grandparents were John William Moore and Dicey Sikes. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Augustus Marion, John Jackson, Thomas Mickel, William Washington, Jordan P., Henry, David, Abraham Marion, Lucinda, Celia Anne and Clarkey Ann. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on November 6th, 1912.1 General Notes
